Candle Care

For Every Home Candle Care Tips:

Make sure you trim your wick before use to 1/4 of an inch.

Remove any plastic or non-wax toppings so not to have any fire hazards.

"Dip" your wick to put out the candle to prevent the smoke and odor you get when blowing out a candle.

When lighting a candle for the first time, make sure you burn it long enough that the entire top of the candle is melted to prevent the candle from tunneling.

Coffee and Candles

It can be hard to find the perfect scent for your home. You end up smelling countless samples before deciding on the right scent for you. However, scents can start to run together and become overwhelming. One quick way to solve the fragrance overload is to take a sniff of coffee beans between fragrance samples to "cleanse the palate" so to speak. By taking a whiff of the coffee, it clears out you nose and allows you to fully appreciate the next fragrance.  To see a video about how it works click here.

A How To on Cubes

There is a famous saying that goes something along the lines of, "Stuff Happens." Ok so I know it is not word for word, but this is a business blog so I will keep the language clean. Point being that unfortunate things happen, such as your For Every Home, House Shaped Soy Cubes arriving with a crack running down the middle of the wax.

You go to open up that box, excited to see what goodies you have received and you pull out a package of cubes and there is that glaring defect. While here at For Every Home, we take every precaution to prevent this from happening, including quality inspections and a professional packaging team, sometimes due to situations out of our control, the wax cubes can break. Sometimes shippers are rough on the packages and sometimes drastic changes in temperature can cause cracks to form. I mean, the cubes are meant to be broken apart to put into your warmer anyway, right? Sometimes it just happens a little bit early.

While this is a very unfortunate event, there is a very simple way to fix this situation.  We understand that you want to provide a good looking crack free product to your customers and clients, so we have a simple way for you to fix the appearance of your cubes.

All you have to do is to find a Hair Drier (most women should have one on hand), and use it to slowly reheat the wax in the cube blocks and melt the crack back together.

It is so simple and only takes about a minute to do! All it takes is a little direct heat to fix a small blemish in the cubes physical appearance. You do not need to remove it from the container and you will not be "spending" any of the cubes fragrance.

We hope this little quick fix tip is helpful to you! If you have any other product tips you would like to share, leave a comment or send me an email at dani@foreveryhome.com.
